A few weeks ago, through our RISE Program, we had the chance to give back to two incredible veterans who were nominated by this community. Jessie Murphree, a 173rd Airborne veteran who was severely injured while serving in Afghanistan, was surprised with $20,000 to help him take the next step toward buying a home. Christopher Copeland, a U.S. Air Force veteran who continues to mentor kids from the foster system, was gifted a fully built truck as a thank-you for the impact he makes every day.
